Heritier Sawmill and Reflections of the Wild

Pro Lumberjack Competition 2005

Our next open house and Pro Lumberjack Competition will be held on June 12, 2005. The public is welcome to attend. This year it is free admission! This annual event will feature Pro Lumberjacks from the US and Canada competing for cash and prizes. You will see some of the fastest chain saws in the world. Events this year include: stock saw, two classes of Modified chain saws, two man cross cut saw, Jack and Jill cross cut, underhand chopping, axe throwing, the water boil, and new this year, the single buck. This will be a great day of family fun. You can also feed the fish in one of our ponds located right next to the competition. You can also visit our Gift and Craft shop, and choose from thousands of gifts and crafts. The crafts are made right here from wood sawn from our saw mill. When you get hungry, you can stop by "Diane's Cook Shack", and purchase something from our menu. You can also check out the new Ford pick-up trucks that Dean Arbour Ford will have on display.
